Now more than ever, human resources is widely viewed as a critical business function. In response to that, the Human Capital Institute (HCI) modernized their signature certification program to help HR professionals build credibility within their organizations. The updated sHRBP certification is designed to help leaders in the HR space advance their careers, lead high-impact HR teams, and make a positive impact on their company’s business practices.
According to HCI CEO, Chuck Feltz, the interactive three-day program builds “a new strategic skillset characterized by strong financial and business acumen, extraordinary diagnostic and consulting skills, and a level of urgency driven by an unwavering commitment to your business’s strategic outcome.”
HCI’s Strategic HR Business Partner certification program is available in person or online. Professionals who earn this certification may use the 19.50 business recertification credits toward aPHR, PHR, PHRca, SPHR, GPHR, PHRi, and SPHRi. The hours also count as Professional Development Credits (PCDs) toward a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification provided by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
