Richard is the founding principal of ERISA Consultants. He brings over 30 years’ experience to the effective design, consulting, and management of 401(k) plans.
Richard is a member of the American Retirement Association and was recently elected to their Leadership Counsel for a four-year term. He has contributed case studies for the American Law Institute-American Bar Association’s advanced pension program and also provided continuing education programs for CPA groups and has lectured on plan design techniques for medical groups at the RBMA Education Conference.

Dakota has been a part of the ERISA Consultants team since 2018. He has an extensive background in day-to-day operations of 401(k) plans which, complimenting his expertise in customized plan design, compliance, and consultation with plan sponsors.
Dakota holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and a Master of Business Administration. Dakota holds credentials provided through the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA), which include the Qualified 401(k) Consultants (QKC), and the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA). He also holds a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) credential through the National Associations of Plan Advisors (NAPA).
