Group Health Insurance

Health insurance has become a major factor in a candidate’s decision to choose an employer and an employee’s decision to remain with their current employer. It’s also required for certain employers as part of the Affordable Care Act. Inova offers a variety of group plans, including health, dental, and vision.

Compliance

We offer several benefits-related compliance services including, ERISA wrap document preparation, COBRA enrollment administration services, ACA and FMLA compliance reviews, and an annual review of employer plan documents and summary plan descriptions.

Section 125

Give your employees the option to set aside part of their pay for qualified medical or dependent care expenses. The deduction for contributions to a Section 125 plan are made pretax, which reduces the amount of tax owed for both the employee and the employer. Plans include premium-only plans (POP), flexible spending arrangements (FSA), and dependent care.

Benefits Accounts

Inova Benefits provides administration of other benefits accounts including health savings accounts (HSA) offered in conjunction with a high-deductible health plan, and accounts related to health reimbursement arrangements (HRA), a type of group health plan.

Our enrollment processes are designed to meet the unique needs of each client. We offer paper applications, in-person, one-on-one enrollments, as well as paperless online enrollment – or some combination of these. Our online benefits enrollment platform populates payroll fields so deductions are calculated and the information is sent to your insurance carrier – all from within one system.
We work with many of the top health insurance carriers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare. We also offer shared health plans which are a great option for smaller companies that are not yet able to contribute to a health plan for their employees.

Our benefits clients range in size from 10 employees to more than 100. Smaller companies often think they are too small to be able to offer health benefits, but they do have options. Regardless of the number of employees, each client receives personalized service and a commitment to finding the right plans and options for their employees and their business.
